Biography

Rosa was encouraged to value education and helping people by her Mexican immigrant parents and she has by being the first in her family to graduate with a Masters in Nursing.

Her background consists of 10+ years in Women’s services as a Labor and Delivery nurse. Her role have given her the exposure and knowledge to take care of high risk mothers and their unborn babies. Through the rigorous FNP program at UTHealth, Rosa has been able to increase her knowledge on well women exams and primary care of the female population.

Personal Interests

When Rosa is not in the office she is spending time with her 2 children and is actively involved with community events. As well as being an avid reader and coffee enthusiast.
